Where do i find a dermatologist?

i would like to see a dermatologist about my acne but i was wondering if they were at regular doctors offices or what.. Where do i find a dermatologist?
no they have their own offices normally. You can find one in your area by going to yellowpages.com ; type in dermatologists for the search and your zip code =] qood luck !Where do i find a dermatologist?
What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly acne.

Before trying any treatment, I suggest you read this informational source that listed the most effective acne treatments available:

Hope this helps :)
Do you have insurance? If you do, try finding out what their website is. There they might have a list of available dermatologist in your area that you can see. If they don't, just call your insurance company.

If you don't have a PPO you can't go directly to a dermatologist, you need a referral from your family doctor. Usually family doctors take it upon themselves to prescribe things for acne. Don't do it! Ask them to send you to a dermatologist instead. Trust me, I wish someone would have told me this when I was younger. And if you feel dismissed, and that they aren't listening to you go to someone else. It's important to find someone that is on the same page as you.

If you need something soon, look into Neutrogena products. I found they are the best over the counter.

And don't be mean to your skin, don't pick, and don't use things that dry it out because it will make it break out even more. Be gentle. Wash it gently.

And please, don't rely on acne websites. Everyone has a million different answers, because everyone's skin is unique. Be careful that you don't do anything that could make your skin worse.

Good luck.
