Can i see a dermatologist?

i wanted to see a dermatologist so i asked my doctor to write a referral letter but she refused and said i only have a small problem of eczema and hair loss and some lines on forehead (wrinkles) and dermatologist only sees patients with bigger problems. by the way, anyone knows where i can see a dermatologist and how much does it cost to see one? i live in Australia, Melbourne inner city area. please give full details thanks!Can i see a dermatologist?
Now Id say get a new Dr. That is a lousy comment to make to your patient. They are supposed to support what you want, not slam you.

you dont have to have 'big problems' to see a dermatologist!


if your eczema is interfering with your life or you have questions, it is suggested you see one. i'm not sure if they even have insurance in australia, but, if you do, and if you have insurance,


it should cover the costs of dermatologist appointments, [it depends on your health insurance, its best to check up on it beforehand.]
