Dermatologist??? What kinds of Treatment do they give you???

Please if anyone know what kinds of treatment the dermatologist recommend..please list them.. I saw some ads once on really great dermatologist products but i really wants to know. I need something cheap and really helpful for my skin.

A dermatologist is just a doctor with a speciality in skin. they can do all sorts of things, mostly asses and diagnose any sort of skin condition. Things like eczema, rosacea, skin cancer, dermatitis (dry/inflamed skin), acne, etc. etc. etc!





If you saw an ad with ';dermatologist-recommended... blah blah blah...'; it probably meant that the product was very mild, was ';hypoallergenic'; (which means it is unlikely to cause adverse reactions even in people with sensitive skin), and could even help bring relief to people with skin issues.





Beyond diagnosing and prescribing medications for skin conditions, some are considered ';cosmetic dermatologists';, which means they do things like peels, botox injections, etc... This might also include removing moles (a procedure which isn't always ';cosmetic';).





Typically, though, ';cheap'; is NOT a good word to look for when considering relief from skin problems!! Definitely see a dermatologist or even a naturopathic doctor if you're concerned about something.





Also - ALWAYS ask a dermatologist about short term and long term side effects of any treatment or medication before you start using it! Skin is a dangerous thing to treat and can easily turn against you.Dermatologist??? What kinds of Treatment do they give you???
It really depends on what you want to use the treatment for. If it's for acne, they give you medications and benzoyl peroxide.
Dermatologist usually prescribes drug medications. It can be harmful if taken excessively or over a prolonged period of time.
