If you have a rash or an unusually looking mole (whether or not it is cancerous), they might. It will be just a close up of the spot though.
When I did my rotation, we would take pictures of large moles on children so that we could monitor them over time.Do they take pictures of you at the Dermatologist?
Sometime if they want to watch a particular spot or mole. Most of the time it is documented in your chart via a printed picture of a human with the spots that they want to watch penned in.
