Dermatologist in hawaii anyone?

anyone know a good dermatologist in hawaii?around maybe pearlcity,aiea,mililani,wahiawa around those areas?in the west side but not too far like kapolei or ewa.id like to know thanks.Dermatologist in hawaii anyone?
Interestingly, my Honolulu magazine that arrived yesterday has it's best doctors annual list. They list the following in the areas you mentioned:


Carver Wilcox, Wahiawa, 621-1000


Paul Takiguchi, Pali Momi, 487-0083 (referrals only)


I don't know either of these docs, but am forwarding the recommendation of the magazine.





Dr. Nip-Sakamoto is also listed, but she is in town, as the other poster mentioned, %26amp; has a wait list of 6 - 7 months. I do know this doctor %26amp; she is very good.





I am a nurse %26amp; know from trying to refer patients that many dermatology practices here are very busy %26amp; you may have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for an app't unless you are lucky enough to call right after a cancellation. If you have trouble getting an app't %26amp; are willing to come into town, try Norman Goldstein at Honolulu Medical Group, 537-2211. He recently moved practices %26amp; seems to be able to see people on a timely basis. I have seen him before %26amp; he is very good.Dermatologist in hawaii anyone?
I'd check the website for your health insurance company and see if they have a network here. I know that HMSA (Hawaii Medical Services Association) is a member of Blue Cross/Blue Shield, which is a major medical insurance company. HMSA's website is below.





You can also check hospitals' websites. I'll put the website for Pali Momi below. It's a really nice hospital next door to Pearlridge Mall.





From personal experience, I like Jennifer Fong. She has an office in the Pearlridge Mall complex in Aiea.
I think PMAG has the best Doctor's (Physician Association).
