What do they do there? Im thinking of being one when I grow up but im not sure what they do...except they are SKIN doctors but what else do they offer? tnxHave you gone to a dermatologist?
Dermatologists are specialist physicians who diagnose and treat diseases of the skin, hair and nails. All dermatologists are medically qualified, and undertake the same undergraduate training as other doctors. So good luck! Lol.Have you gone to a dermatologist?
Give a dermatologist's office a call and ask if you can job shadow a Dermatologist Dr. for a day. I'm sure they would be more than willing to accomodate you or at least point you in the right direction as to finding out more information.
I have fair skin and grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida. I go about every 6 mos primarily to check for early signs of skin cancer. Anything suspicious, they usually freeze. Other stuff they hack off with a blunt axe. They treat all sorts of skin disorders, rashes, fungus etc.
