You can get a referral from your General Practice doctor, which most health insurance companies prefer, or you can try looking in your phone book or online.
Call the office and schedule an appointment. In addition to adressing your immediate concerns, the dermatologist should take a thorough history, take plenty of time with you, answer all questions you may have, and you should feel comfortable with him/her.

Ask your general doctor, friends and family members..most insurances require you to see ur regular DR about the problem and then reffer you.
Your family doctor will need to refer you to one.
