If you have a mole removed by a plastic surgeon, (instead of a dermatologist) will there still be a scar?

i just got one removed and i asked about it and looked it up and there will be a scare no matter what but please go to a plastic surgeon they are more experienced in doing that. for the scare after you can get- mederma for scars-
