Okay so my friend said she needed to see a dermatologist but we don't have any in our town and she didn't want to travel really far out of town, and so we were both wondering if normal doctors can help even if they're not dermatologistsDo you need to see a Dermatologist to help fix acne or can you just see a normal doctor?
If I were you or your friend, I would go to see your physician (regular doctor) and ask for a list of recommended dermatologists or even to talk about your acne. Your physician has a degree in pretty much 'general' health care and they maybe could help you. You never know. Do you need to see a Dermatologist to help fix acne or can you just see a normal doctor?
dermatologists specialize in skin. they're the ones you have to see. a regular doctor can't be as specific about acne because it's not their specialty. good luck!
