Do you go to a DOCTOR or DERMATOLOGIST for Accutane?

DermatologistDo you go to a DOCTOR or DERMATOLOGIST for Accutane?
yes- dermatologist. It's expensive though, and like a 6 month program. But SO worth it. Me and my brother went on it %26amp; my brother had really bad acne and it's years later and we both look amazing.

It's easier if when you go in there keep in control and tell them you want this and have tried EVERYTHING. Sometimes they'll try to make you try years worth of different treatments before just getting you on it.Do you go to a DOCTOR or DERMATOLOGIST for Accutane?
your dermatologist will prescribe it for you if you have a dermatologist but with some dermatologists its hard to get an appointment right away.

If you don't have a dermatologist in mind, your doctor can always help with that.
U have to go to the doctor in order to be referred by them to the dermatologist. I dont think u can just phone up the dermatologist and make an appointment.
A dermatologist. Many doctors won't prescribe it because of the numerous side effects. Blood tests need to be done every few months to make sure your organs aren't being damaged. Use this medicine with great care.
yes because it's a VERY powerful drug! it has a LOT of side affects and it's dangerous! consult with your derm. and read the packet first and then decide. :D
Either one but if your a female they won't give it to you unless your post menopause etc b/c the harm it will do to the fetus if you get prego.
A Dermatologist. There's more paper work that has to be done than just an average prescription.
