I wanna be a dermatologist what should i major in?

i go to fayetteville state now but i strongly wanna transfer to a%26amp;t my junior yearI wanna be a dermatologist what should i major in?
A dermatologist is an MD. So, you need to go to medical school, and of course take the MCAT's. In general, most students interested in becoming doctors usually major in Biology or Chemistry, although this is not a necessity. I would still definitely major in something in the sciences, or you will have a very hard time in med school. My girlfriend is a resident doctor (MD), and from what she told me, you need to go 4 years through med school, and then do a residency in dermatology.





As a side note, obviously med school is very difficult to get into. You should have at least a 3.75 at a minimum at a state school. I would recommend transfering to a school that has a heavy scientific research program.I wanna be a dermatologist what should i major in?
